Great oysters, chilled pitchers of beer, good seafood. Shrimp was a little off but everything else was good

Surprising find for a restaurant labeled as an "upscale dive bar". We sat on the back patio and we shared the fish and chips. Our plate was was full of tender flaky fish and fresh veggies and fries. More than enough for two people. Our server was kind and fast. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. Get there early. By the time we left at 7pm the entire parking lot was full. Thia place is not fancy or trying to cater to the tourists. This is a local find and I really hope it stays that way.

Love this place. Every time I go to Saint Augustine, we come here. Amazing oysters at half the price you pay in the old Town. Wonderful staff, excellent drinks. Really laid back. This might be weird, but I also love the smell of the place. It smells like sandalwood.

Awesome local joint with great music, dancing and food. Aaron was great. Be sure to bring a healthy appetite 8f eating, it was a lot of food.

Try the shrimp hush puppies. Huge shrimp around cornmeal, not ground up bait. Best I’ve ever had. Service could be a bit faster, but food and the rustic ambiance is quite nice. A nice beach side eatery...

Good original place to eat sea food and have a fun time fast service and the portion size is good.

The food was nominal. The oysters quite small. The domestic beer was over priced. But service was good. And the environment was quaint.

I went for the first time this past Wednesday to meet some friends for dinner & was really surprised how packed this place was. I guess this is where the locals go because everybody seemed to know everybody. Our server was CUE (?) not really sure if its spelled that way. Karaoke is open to anyone brave enough to have a great time. The burgers were huge and yummy !!! Get in early - they have early bird menu, but also to make sure you'll get a table . Parking gets packed but not too bad.

Cool place... The bartender was WASTED when we were there (Fri night/Sat morning 1am), but at least he didn't fall down... We would have spent more time and $$$ there if the bartender was on it. No luck for us!

Seriously the best bacon wrapped scallops I've ever had!! The catch of the day was Cobia which was delicious blackened. The beer cheese was scrumptious. The service is nothing exceptional but dont let anything keep you from checking this place out. Key lime pie was great. And the drinks are cheap!!

The building is old and beachy. This is not fancy dining, But, the fried oysters were fresh, juicy, and fried perfectly. There was a band that played 60s music, they had folks dancing from the first song. The band was made up of a few members of famous bands. Fast,friendly service, and reasonably priced.

Went there with a party of five. After waiting for several minutes for a table my family and I was told they had no table for five. We were asked if we wanted two separate tables. REALLY.!!!??!!! The place was somewhat empty........... We weren't even welcomed. We left the establishment.

Can't go anywhere without meeting a fellow native. Mike from a Pittsburgh suburb. Food was fantastic. Prices were great. And Jessica was a perfect host.

Food excellent. Very helpful and attentive staff. Didn't care for underageteenagers working as bar backs. Love the bacon wrapped scallops except for last Sunday. Bacon was burnt.

They were out of the raw and steamed oysters, so that was disappointing. It was January 2nd, so they should have been able to get more supply after the New Year's Eve celebration by then. The oysters Rockefeller were just ok - kind of small oysters. The fried oyster sliders were very good. They did not have French dressing for a salad, which my husband considers a staple. The whole place was filled with an older crowd of snow birds, dancing and singing to the live karaoke. My young sons were amused.

Good place to come! We came on a buddy Saturday night and it was still good service. There was live music and the food was great! You get a lot for a reasonable price!

Had their broiled seafood platter. Really good with a good choice of sides to choose from. Seemed like a local hangout. Good size bar also. Enjoyed it all.

Very salty oystrrs but not shucked thoroughly, chargrilled oysters needed to have cheese on top melted. Will give them another shot.

Depending on your mood, this place can be just the ticket.Very dark, handful of regulars anchor the place. It's a bit cave like, though with several quiet TV's going. They have a small dart and pool table room. Cheap beer, old-school.

Best best place there is! I absolutely love coming to the tides every chance I get! The staff is amazing and the food is everything you’d ever ask for 10/10!

This place has some great happy hour deals including food. Service is generally pretty great but you may have to wait- because the locals love this place. Its affordable- and it's right across from the 🌴 beach. Night is so beautiful its worth the wait and the drive to the island!

Felicia was the best bartender/ server we have had for a long time. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. The oysters were awesome and the beer was not only 2 bucks but cold and good. Overall this is a great place to enjoy what st. Augustine has to offer. Its a must see when youre here. So bring a friend or your better half and i will c u there

Such a great place! Walked in and it was pretty busy, mostly families and an older crowd. We were seated right away. Service was pretty fast for how busy it was. It was karaoke night, so that was a blast! Had the stuffed mushrooms and they were amazing!!! Then had the seafood plate and it was so good, couldn’t finish it because there was so much food! We had so much fun and will for sure be back again!

Excellent food and service today. We had the shrimp and it was so good!! The calamari was great too and the beer cheese soup was out of this world!!! This place is pet friendly. They have a nice outdoor seating area and our server even brought ice to keep our pup's water cool.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the food and service. We had Lexi for our server and she was awesome! Even with the 3 crazy kids we had, she took the time to answer our questions about the drinks and food. This place had a relaxed atmosphere, a full bar and a pool table. The food was really good. This had become the new favorite of St Augustine Beach.

Very laid back place, got the Oster bucket with the $2 beers! The music is good as well...

Food was great , chastity was personable. Would encourage a visit.
